(Napa CA) The County Executive Officer announces one (1) Public Member position representing Napa County, on the Napa Sanitation District Board of Directors with the term of office to commence immediately and to expire December 31, 2011.
Interested applicants must be residents and/or property owners within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Napa Sanitation District and shall not be an officer or employee of the County of Napa, the City of Napa or the Napa Sanitation District. The public member shall have significant knowledge and/or professional experience, in public/private engineering, land use/environmental planning, budget/finance or administration.
The Napa Sanitation District is a local special district with the responsibility for the wastewater collection, treatment and disposal services to the residents and businesses in the City of Napa and surrounding unincorporated areas of Napa County. The public member participate in the review of the various District wide programs including the operation, maintenance and improvements to the District’s sewage facilities, setting of annual sewer charges and rates and the administration of the District’s affairs including adoption of the District annual budget. The Board of Directors meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Treatment Plant, 1515 Soscol Ferry Road, Napa.
