As an active member of the North Bay Water Reuse Authority,
Napa Sanitation District is participating in a project that is designed to expand
the beneficial use of recycled water. By working together through the multi-agency
North Bay Water Reuse Authority, the District is obtaining economies of scale, has
obtained substantial grant funds and is seeking more. Through this collaborative
effort, Napa Sanitation District is making it more cost effective to pursue the
expansion of recycled water.

Environmental Document Complete:
The environmental and engineering portion of this project are being carried out as part of the larger North Bay Water Recycling program. The last step in the environmental process for the proposed project in the Milliken-Sarco-Tulocay (MST) area, as well as the projects of the other members located in Sonoma and Marin counties, is completion of the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR)/Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
Review by Member Agencies: The Final EIR/EIS will be presented and reviewed by the boards of the member agencies of the recycling program, and, if acceptable, will be certified by the end of October or November. Check with the Napa Sanitation District for its specific review period.
EIR/EIS Comments: All the comments on the Draft EIR/EIS are listed in the final document, along with full responses. The document is an assessment of all the possible impacts, both positive and negative, that the proposed projects may have on the natural environment.
